Fall Box Lacrosse - Boys 3rd to 8th grades

What is box lacrosse?
Box lacrosse is version of lacrosse played in a roller hockey rink. It originated in Canada and is increasing in popularity. Games are played with 5 players and a goalie per team. Box lacrosse helps improve stick skills, lacrosse IQ, decision making, handling pressure, off ball movement and communication.
Sign up at www.renegadeslax.org. Only $25 per player. Full lacrosse equipment is required. Registration includes 6 Sunday sessions and a Renegades pinnie. Each session will include a 30-minute skills clinic and 60-minute game play. Basic box rules will apply. Short sticks only.
Sundays: 9/22, 9/29, 10/6, 10/13, 10/20, 10/27
Times*: 3rd to 5th grade 9:00 to 10:30; 6th to 8th grade 10:30 to 12:00
*Times are tentative and dependent upon the number of registrants.
Location: Lake Telemark outdoor hockey rink on Green Pond Road (4 mi north of Rt 80)
Full equipment includes a black helmet, shoulder pads, elbow pads, gloves, protective cup, mouth piece, lacrosse stick, and cleats. Players will be supplied with a game uniform and practice pinnie.
