K-2nd Spring Clinic
The Renegades Lacrosse Spring Clinic is open to K-1st grade boys and K-2nd grade girls.
The clinic's purpose is to introduce the game of lacrosse by teaching basic concepts and developing fundamental skills through fun activities and games.
The clinic includes instruction on the foundations of lacrosse, such as:
- proper grip and hold of the stick
- passing the ball
- catching the ball
- cradling the ball
- shooting on goal
- scooping ground balls
Equipment needed includes a lacrosse stick and sneakers or cleats for boys, and a lacrosse stick, sneakers or cleats, and lacrosse goggles for girls. The clinic is non-contact.
The clinic runs approximately six weeks, from mid/late April to early June, and is held at New Ford Road Field on Sundays at noon.
