Volunteer Impact: The heart of Renegades Lacrosse lies in the vibrant spirit of our volunteers. Your participation isn't just helpful—it's fundamental in nurturing our athletes and strengthening our community bonds. As we continue to grow and succeed, your engagement becomes even more crucial.
Volunteer Commitment: To ensure our events are successful, each family is asked to dedicate a minimum of 2 hours during our key functions: the Renegades Tailgate, Picture Day, and the Romp in the Swamp Tournament. Whether you're helping with setup, coordination, or other vital activities, your efforts are what make these events possible and enjoyable.
How to Volunteer: Signing up is straightforward. Use the Sign-Up Genius link we'll share at the start of the spring season. We recommend registering early to aid our planning efforts. If you haven't chosen a slot, we may assign one to ensure all roles are covered.
Scheduling Volunteer Time: We suggest selecting volunteer times that do not overlap with your child's games, especially during the Romp in the Swamp Tournament. This approach helps many parents balance support for the team with cheering on their athletes.
Recognition of Volunteer Hours: After completing your shift at the Romp in the Swamp Tournament, the event director will confirm your hours, ensuring your contributions are recognized and appreciated.
Volunteer Exemptions: Coaches and one team manager per team are exempt from these requirements, pending approval by the boys' or girls' program director.
Highlighting the Romp in the Swamp Tournament: Remember, this tournament isn't just a series of games; it's our primary fundraising event, pivotal for sustaining and enhancing our program. Its success is directly tied to our collective efforts.
