3/4 games will start @ 8:00 AM
5/6 games will start @ 8:30 AM
7/8 games will start @ 1:30 PM

Romp in the Swamp 2022 Rules

  • Have FUN and honor the game!!!
  • Games are 25 minutes running time.
  • All games will start and stop on a central horn.
  • All JGLA and USA Lacrosse rules apply.
  • 3/4 level: there is no checking and the ball will be brought to the center after a goal.
  • 5/6 and 7/8 levels: modified checking and a draw will be taken after each goal.
  • A four-goal differential will result in the team down getting a free possession.
  • No timeouts.
  • There will be zero tolerance for negative comments or inappropriate actions by coaches, players, or fans. Anyone in violation of this rule will be asked to leave the tournament.
